GRAHAM — Have you ever watched a pageant on TV and wondered what it would be like if it was live?
Then you definitely need to look into the Miss Southern Scholarship Pageant to experience the amazing talents these girls have to offer. The 50th anniversary event will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in the L.M. Adcock Auditorium at the school.
This year’s contestants include: Breeanna Marie Bigelow,
Taylor Brente Cheek, Juliana Chovil, Angel Bridgett Clark, Norma Lindsay McVey, Leslie Gray Morris, Isidora Stijovic, Jenna Marie Solomon and Ivey Catherine Woodard.
“I’m impressed with the pageant because it is not about who is the prettiest or who is the most popular; it really showcases a variety of talents,” said Joel Sink, senior at Southern Alamance High School.
Concessions will be sold during the event by Southern Alamance’s Belles and Sons choir members.
Advance tickets are available from contestants for $8 each and tickets will be for sale for $10 at the door. For more information, call (336) 438-4773.
