GREENSBORO — The amazing A$AP Rocky, aka Rakim Mayers, shook the stage at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex on Tuesday night.
Fans from all over North Carolina came together and shouted their voices away as he ran out on the stage, opening with one of his hits “A$AP Forever.” The show opened with rapper Comethazine and one of Rocky’s close friends, ASAP Twelvyy. Every artist pleased the audience with their incredible performance and rap skills, as well as the theatrical background which consisted of hanging cars and smoke.
Throughout the concert, A$AP Rocky performed tracks from his most recent album, “Testing,” which included his hit single “Praise Da Lord” featuring Skepta. He also performed some of his older hits like “Everyday” and “Multiply” along with popular tracks he was featured on including “No Limit” by G-Eazy. Every fan could be seen jumping and screaming every lyric.
As one of the last songs was performed, the crowd backed up until a giant open circle was created. Rocky demanded that as soon as the beat would drop, everyone shall throw themselves into this circle, and that is what almost every single person did. This chaotic but extremely fun mosh pit created laughter and more screaming, and most importantly, a desire to remain at the show. Rocky’s last song was being performed, and no one wanted to leave. This iconic performance will remain with fans for weeks, and years, to come.
