Archery instruction for youth is April 3-4

   Burlington Recreation & Parks Department will offer Basic Archery Instruction for Youth — Compound Bow, April 3-4 at Lake Mackintosh Park & Marina at the Clubhouse, 2704 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington.
Upcoming sessions will be from 9 a.m. to noon April 3 for ages 9 to 12 and 9 a.m. to noon April 4 for ages 9 to 12 and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 4 for ages 13 to 16. Admission is free and all equipment will be provided.
Space is limited. All participants must pre-register and complete a registration form with a liability waiver on the day of the program. Archery equipment will be provided by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission’s North Carolina Hunter Education program through an enhancement federal grant from the Pittman-Robertson Act. Participants may bring a water bottle with their name on it and a healthy snack. They’ll need to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
