‘Gatlinburg has it all’

   GATLINBURG, TENN. — Nestled within the misty blue Smoky Mountains is a bustling city filled with crowded shops and the opportunity to explore. Whether it’s exploring a new cuisine, the mountains, or just venturing into something that’s beyond your comfort zone, Gatlinburg has it all. It’s a city with attractions at every corner, and it all adds to Gatlinburg’s charm; so if you’re looking for a place to plan an excellent family vacation, then Gatlinburg is for you.
Gatlinburg is a city in which time is preserved yet progressing. There are attractions reminiscent of the Wild West and the early 20th century, such as the Hollywood Stars Cars Museum or the Crockett’s Breakfast Camp. However, there are also attractions that represent modern technologies, such as the Ober Aerial Tramway. From the Space Needle, which stands at an astounding height of 400 feet, you can view the city below you and you’re provided with a breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains, which surround you on all sides.
   Another attraction that provides impeccable views is the Gatlinburg sky lift, which takes you up 1,200 feet, giving you an incredible view of the mountain while ascending, and a priceless, bird’s-eye view of the city while descending. The Ober amusement park is also a must-see. An aerial tram takes you to a park atop one of the mountain peaks and in that park, there are a variety of rides, including the Alpine Slide and the Blue Cyclone Rapids.
While there are lots of rides to lure visitors to this charming city, Mother Nature’s tapestry surrounding the city is alluring. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park comprised of various trails, such as the rustic Cades Cove, Roaring Fork, which is a hiking trail with a small waterfall at the end of the trail. Upon entering these national parks, you forget that you were ever a part of the bustling city that Gatlinburg is. The sights are breathtaking to say the least and every few turns, you see log cabins from years before which add to the bucolic charm of these places. If you’re looking for a beautiful escape from reality, this is your place.
Gatlinburg is an excellent vacation spot for all families everywhere. It has the perfect mixture of everything and is sure to impress.
