GIBSONVILLE – Sometimes, chocolate is the only thing that will satisfy a craving for sweets.
Once Upon a Chocolate is the perfect place to get delectable, handmade chocolate goodness.
Owner Debbie Stephens makes all of her candy confections by hand. Homemade chocolate pops, s’mores, fudge and truffles line the shelves of Once Upon a Chocolate, and the prices are affordable, ranging from under $1 to about $4.
Stephens said she has “not changed the prices of the product, even though the costs to make it have increased.” She tries to keep her prices reasonable so that “everyone can enjoy handmade chocolates.”
One of the most unique features about Once Upon a Chocolate is that it also caters to diabetics. An entire section of the store is devoted to sugar-free treats. Once Upon a Chocolate is located at 139 Piedmont Avenue. For more details or to place orders, call (336) 447-4710.
