GRAHAM — A rose and a spell can change a life forever.
Come join Graham High School’s Theatre Department at 7 p.m. March 14-16 in the showing of Disney’s classic tale, “Beauty and the Beast.”
“My favorite thing is the singing and how we randomly break out into song,” said cast member Lashea Hazzard.
Emily Braswell, who plays Belle, said her favorite line from the show is “and you should learn to control your temper,” which she utters to the Beast. “It’s no secret that the Beast has anger issues, but he has a really sweet side, too.”
Khalil Poole, who plays Cogsworth, said his favorite line is “really sir, do you mind?”
Just take a trip to Graham High School, 903 Trollinger Road, on March 14, 15, or 16 and watch the journey of Belle and the Beast. Admission is $3 for students and $5 for adults. It’s a family friendly show and all ages are welcome. For more information on this production, email
