Greensboro College student’s Morocco photography exhibition opens Feb. 7

GREENSBORO – Leah Holle, a Greensboro College senior who spent months in Morocco in 2013, will have a photography exhibit at the school now through March 1. The exhibit will open with a reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Anne Rudd Galyon gallery on the Greensboro College campus.
Holle is double-majoring in religion and psychology, shot the photos while studying abroad.
“I’m convinced that Morocco is one of the hidden gems in this world, as it is visually captivating, and the beauty is beyond photogenic,” she said. “I found myself behind the camera lens, beginning to not just focus on the differences in the culture and places, but the similarities that supersede culture, religion, language and tradition.”
Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. The exhibition will remain on display during regular gallery hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through March 1. For more details, visit
