Halloween Fun: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today, North Park Library, 849 Sharpe Road, Burlington. Come dressed in your Halloween costume and enjoy stories, songs, activities and and treat. Free. 336-226-7185.
   SPOOKfest: 6:30 p.m. today, Mebane Public Library, 101 S. First St., Mebane. All ages welcome. Wear your Halloween costume and participate in not-so-scary activities, silly songs and treats. 919-563-6431.
   Halloween Parade in downtown Raleigh: 2 p.m. Tuesday. First Lady of North Carolina Kristin Cooper will act as parade grand marshal and lead the Helping Hand Mission Marching Band. Kid-friendly crafts begin at 11 a.m. and the food truck, So Good Pupusas, will be parked on Edenton Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 919-807-7300 or www.ncdcr.gov.
Halloween Bash: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 1606 W. Davis St., Burlington. Bounce houses, carnival games and more. Free. 336-228-7479. Pre-register at hope4nc.com.
Thataways’ annual Special Populations Halloween Dance: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thataways Youth Center, 1331 Overbrook Rd., Burlington. Free event for individuals with developmental disabilities. Costume contest at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. 336-222-5134.
 Clover Court Chaos: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 518 Clover Court, Burlington. Free multi-family yard haunt for more than 10 years now.
