¬† ¬† If you’ve ever wished that a Comic Con convention were closer to Alamance County, you’re in luck.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, Brothers Vintage Toys and Games will hold its first-ever Holly Hill Comicon at Holly Hill Mall and Business Center, 309 Huffman Mill Rd., Burlington.
The event will feature more than 70 vendors; cosplay contests; giveaways and celebrity appearances by wrestling legend Sgt. Slaughter; Austin St. John (original Red Ranger from Power Rangers); and anime voice-over actor Mike McFarland.
Brothers Vintage Toys and Games owners, Robbie Johnson and Chris Faircloth, are excited to bring the first-ever Comic Con to Alamance County.
Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
Since comic book legend Stan Lee died on Sept. 12, this also will be a way to commemorate and celebrate his life, Johnson and Faircloth added.
For more details, visit the Holly Hill Comicon Facebook page or call Brothers Vintage Toys and Games at 336-270-4960.
