HOSA chapter to hold blood drive

   Did you know that one donation of blood could help up to three people?
Western Alamance High School’s HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) chapter will be holding a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 25, 2013, through the American Red Cross in order to help keep the blood bank stocked. The blood drive will be held Western Alamance’s small gym and snacks will be provided after donation.
Sixteen-year-olds, with parental consent, are eligible to donate if they meet the height and weight requirements. Those 17 years old and up also are eligible. To schedule an appointment, call (336) 538-6020 and be sure to eat a good breakfast before donating.
