Jordan Covington selected to play Gulf Coast Jam

Jordan Covington was selected as one of nine out of about 1,600 artists that submitted to play in the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, formerly BamaJam, in Panama City Beach, Fla.
Jordan Covington, a Williams High School graduate, and his band, which features Ryan Ward of Graham on lead guitar; Luke Cope of Kernersville on bass guitar; Blake Burchette of Greensboro on rhythm guitar; Rob Warta of Greensboro on keyboards and Anthony Thigpen of Greensboro on drums, will perform for the first day of the Gulf Coast Jam on Sept. 26.
The band was selected during a Pepsi/Reverb Nation online contest. Other artists to perform in the festival include Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Trace Adkins, Kip Moore, The Charlie Daniels Band, X-Factor’s Tate Stevens, Colt Ford and more. For more details, visit
