Peer into the rabbit hole and stumble onto Wonderland where you will meet the White Rabbit, Tweedles, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Caterpillar and many more of the well-known characters from the children’s classic tale, “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll.
Teen to Teen Theatre will present “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Paramount Theater, 128 E. Front St., Burlington.
“This is an upbeat version of the Disney movie that came out in 1951 that features Alice sitting in the park listening to her sister, Mathilda, read to her about history when she falls asleep.
“The next thing she knows, all manner of strange and wonderful creatures begin to appear, starting with the White Rabbit, who is always late. This fast-paced show brings to life your favorite Wonderland characters in an updated script that both young children and adults can appreciate,” said director Carol Plew.
Cherie Moore is the principal choreographer and Becca June, Carolina Music Awards’ Country Female Artist of the Year, is the show’s music director.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for children 12 and under and credit card reservations can be made by calling (336) 222-TIXS. Tickets also can be purchased at the box office between noon and 3 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. For more details on Teen to Teen Theatre, call (336) 570-6516.
