League of Extraordinary Thespians presents ALSF fundraiser


   The League of Extraordinary Thespians will perform “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Musical” at 7 p.m. May 10-11 at St. Marks Church, 1230 St. Marks Church Road, Burlington.
Auditions for the musical are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 25-26 at St. Marks Church and those interested should be prepared to perform 25 bars of a song, a monologue of at least 30 seconds and a cold reading. All ages are welcome to participate.
Teens & Twenties writer Sabrina Otero and her dad, John, are involved with the show as is Teens & Twenties writer, Sam Diezel, who is co-founder of the project and wrote the original script. All of the proceeds from this musical will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), which funds childhood cancer research. A box for monetary donations also is located at the Times-News, 707 S. Main St., Burlington.
