RALEIGH — Miranda Lambert rocked Raleigh with her Locked and Reloaded tour Saturday night at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre.
The country music star proved why she was a Grammy award winner, taking the crowd by storm launching into hit after hit. Lambert awed the crowd with everything from her first single “Me and Charlie Talking” to her most recent radio hit, “Mama’s Broken Heart.” Not stopping there, Lambert was not hesitant to cover other genres, including the Beatles and AC/DC.
“We are all here tonight as one big happy family united by music,” she said. “I want to encourage you all to be yourself. Don’t ever let anyone tell you you’re not good enough … it takes all ‘Kinds of Kinds.’ ” Lambert then performed the title song from her most recent album, “Four the Record.”
The country star brought the crowd screaming to their feet from beginning to end, leaving the sold-out audience begging for an encore. This was one of the last 10 stops on Lambert’s tour, which will conclude in September.
