‘Most beautiful campus in nation’ encourages cultural knowledge

Elon University is a diverse and well-respected liberal arts university. Elon was founded in 1889 and since then has grown to become a marvelous 620-acre university that is home to more than 6,000 students.
It was named No. 1 in the nation for most beautiful campus by the collegiate review website, The Best Colleges in 2011.
These students come from all across the country and the world to study in one of its 60-plus majors. Elon has accredited schools of law, business, communications and education.Elon has a large and professionally trained staff to assist its students in succeeding in whatever they do. The student to faculty ratio is 12-to-1.
Elon University is a natural model for extracurricular activities. Elon encourages students to expand their cultural knowledge and explore the world around them. Seventy-two percent of Elon students study abroad before they graduate.
Elon also offers on-campus internships and job opportunities for students. Elon athletics also is highly praised for being tough competitors in college sports, even though it’s a private university. Elon also has many recreational leagues for those who want to participate and just have fun.
For those who are not athletic, Elon has other programs and clubs. Its theater program is one of the best in the state.
Tuition at Elon University is $30,149 per year and room and board cost is $9,897.
