GREENSBORO — When you hear the sounds from the mighty Blue and Gold Marching Machine blasting and see the students dressed in their blue-and-gold attire while walking through campus, it can only mean one thing — it’s Homecoming at N.C. A&T State University.
This week students have been eager to celebrate what some view as “the greatest homecoming on earth.”
North Carolina A&T, also known as A&T, is home of the Aggies, and you can really feel that Aggie pride while walking on the campus. The great thing about homecoming week on A&T campus is there are always plenty of events to cater to not only the students but the entire family. During this week, you might even run into some celebrities such as Mike Epps, K. Michelle, T.I., Kelly Rowland, Juicy J and North Carolina’s very own, J.Cole, along with gospel legend, Kirk Franklin, all of whom are involved in the Homecoming Show this weekend.
Of course the moment, which everyone is excited about, is lining the streets and watching the various floats and cars drive up the streets, and hearing the different bands show off their great sounds and moves. Finally packing into the stadium and watching The Aggies battle Virginia University of Lynchburg, tailgating with classmates and, enjoying yourself is the perfect way  to end a great action-packed week on campus.  No matter what event you go to, or how you celebrate homecoming, the one thing everything can feel is that good Ol’Aggie Pride.
