• Elon University’s Chorale and Camerata presents G.F. Handel’s “Messiah”: 7 p.m. Friday, McCrary Theatre on the Elon University campus. Free.
• “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert”: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Raleigh. Performed by the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra as the film is shown on a 40-foot screen. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets.
