Friends of Alamance County Public Libraries’ fall book sale: noon to 6 p.m. Friday (for members only but memberships available for sale at the door); 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday; noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 10-14; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 15; 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16; and noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 17 at the May Memorial Library, 342 S. “A Wrinkle in Time”: 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bill Cooke Park, 1010 Townbranch Rd., Graham, as part of the Movies in the Park series. Admission is free. Rain date is Sept. 9. If it rains on Sept. 9, the movie will be moved indoors to the Graham Recreation Center, 311 College St., and will start promptly at 7 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair; concession stand will be open.
