BCA senior releases his first EP

   Grey Oakes, a senior at Burlington Christian Academy, can add recording artist to his list of accomplishments.
Oakes is the worship leader at Burlington Christian Academy (BCA) and has performed at numerous events in and around the Piedmont-Triad including weddings, ballgames and special events. Oakes released his first EP, “Overdue,” on Nov. 29 during an event at the Carolina Theatre in Greensboro.
The EP consists of four songs — “Summer Love,” “Gone,” “The Best of My Love” and “Overdue.” The songs are a mix of pop and blues/rock. It was recorded at Shadow Tree Studios in Durham.

Preteen and teen actors and film crew needed


   T2T Theatre is looking for preteen and teen actors and a film crew to shoot a video about walking to school in collaboration with SafeKids Alamance County and Teen to Teen Theatre. Participants also will have the opportunity to work behind the camera.
