Have you told Santa what you want for Christmas yet? He will be at Western Alamance High School from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 8, for “A Day with Santa.” Western’s drama class is getting into the Christmas spirit by putting on a Christmas show for kids.
“We are doing the show of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys,” Connie Rea, Western’s drama teacher and director of the Christmas show, explained. While the show is a big part of “A Day with Santa,” Rea also has different things planned for before the show.
“Preshow activities include a visit with Santa and other various activities. The show will start at 10 a.m. After the show, the kids get to eat with the characters; they need to bring a bagged lunch.
There are no age restrictions on the show so children of all ages are welcome. Price is $15 per child and parents can come in with their child for free if they would like. All the money goes to the drama department, and you can pay by check. Any checks can be made out to the WAHS Drama Boosters. Parking will be at the rear of the school, which is also known as the student parking.
